Thomas Ranieri, MD
Dr. Thomas A. Ranieri received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Kentucky in 1982. He then went on to finish his post-graduate training in Anesthesiology and Cardiac Care Medicine in 1986. In 1993, Dr. Ranieri completed a two year fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine in 1993 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in Columbus, OH with special training in implantation and minimally invasive spine surgical techniques.
Dr. Ranieri became board certified in Anesthesiology in 1987. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine in 1993. In 1993, Dr. Ranieri was awarded “Special Qualifications in Pain Management” through the American Board of Anesthesiology. Soon after the founding of the World Institute of Pain, Dr. Ranieri became a Fellow of Interventional Pain Medicine. He was awarded Diplomate Status by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians in 2008.
